My delicious chocolate pound cake Black Forest style.

The sides are done with the petal effect and 

the top is my favourite rosette flowers.

We recently renovated our kitchen and I wanted to share 

a before/after picture.  I am elated the way it turned out and (so far)

wouldn't change a thing about the design.

I had a special request for a birthday cake for a Marilyn Munroe 'fan'....Happy Birthday Rebecca....hope you enjoyed it.

Piped with beautiful rosettes.

Swiss Meringue Buttercream

Playing around with some leftover swiss meringue buttercream.  

This icing is so smooth and creamy I could easily eat it right from the bowl.  But instead I made some turtle cupcakes and a few elegant ones....Enjoy.
